I've posted a mathematica notebook at http://www.math.uiuc.edu/~mando/classes/2007F/199-manual/hw/FourierPracticeHW.nb. Download a copy of this notebook, and work through it. Save it, and post it to the blog.
Try to do this for the 19th: we'll work on it in class today, Monday the 17th.

yeah, waht was the link to the free download for mathematica. I tried to open up the notebook you gave me and it didn't work. With the free demo version I found. It was some player that only does examples shown online and stuff.
Mike, I don't know of any free download for Mathematica, sorry! But you can try here for student discounts - I think it costs $50 -

I just checked it out - it might actually be as low as $25, which is mind-boggling....
I put my notebook in netfiles but it doesn't have a url to get to it. It just downloads it from a blank page.
i also put my notebook on netfiles like drew and the same thing occurred. i have also save it to my account and flash drive if necessary.
